Bonguensa adalah sebuah kuil Buddha yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 794 sewaktu zaman Silla (salah satu daripada tiga kerajaan Korea). Kuil ini mempunyai sejarah lebih dari 1,000 tahun dan mempunyai pelbagai ciri sejarah dan budaya yang menarik, termasuk ukiran kayu Avatamsaka Sutra (Flower Garland Sutra). Kuil ini juga sangat popular sebagai destinasi pelancongan, menawarkan pelbagai program berkaitan budaya tradisional Buddha Korea, dalam pelbagai bahasa.


Bongeunsa bukan sahaja sekadar sebuah kuil namun ia juga merupakan sebuah tempat untuk berehat daripada kesibukan bandar dan memberi peluang untuk pengunjung membuat refleksi diri. Program penginapan di kuil memberi peluang untuk pengunjung merasai pengalaman kehidupan harian di kuil termasuk budaya dan amalan tradisional Buddha Korea. Sebagai contoh, pengunjung boleh merasai pengalaman amalan Buddha yang mudah seperti sembahyang pada waktu subuh, meditasi Zen Korea, Dado (upacara minum teh), dan Balwoogongyang (makanan Buddha dihidangkan di dalam mangkuk tradisional). Setiap ulang tahun kelahiran Buddha pada bulan Mei, Bongeunsa akan mengadakan Lotus Lantern Festival di Samseong-dong yang berdekatan. Dalami kehidupan Buddha Korea dan sejarah mereka dengan berkunjung ke Bongeunsa hari ini.

Read before Reservation
  • Reservations must be made at least three days prior to the tour date.
  • Additional reservations, one or two days before the tour starts, are only allowed for the tour that is already fixed.
  • In the case of group tour, more than 10people, please contact us by e-mail.
  • Reservations for the following month are available from the 15th of the current month.
  • Please refrain from participating in any tour programs should you be experiencing any symptoms, including fever, coughing, congestion, muscle pain, stuffy nose, and/or sore throat.
